Drywall go-time

This is the big drywall weekend. I had to fix a few things in preparation. If you can recall, I plumbed up the hot water heater to the manifold a few weeks ago. Anyway, it worked but it leaked at some of the teflon connections. This sucks and because I hate teflon tape, I re-plumbed it using NO teflon and all pex crimp and swivel connections. I also fired up the hot water heater that worked like a charm.

What you see below if a thing of beauty and no leaks!

New pex crimp connections
I wanted to move one toilet line before we buttoned up the walls with drywall. While I was moving the pex line in the bathroom, I found this gem written on the wall stud. It says "Frum Neil". I love this. Lil Neil wrote this on the board last summer and now I will never forget!

Saturday morning it was go-time for drywall hanging. Jesse (from Columbus) and his crew got rolling.

By Sunday before noon, all of the drywall was hung in the entire house! Next step is the finishing - tape, mud and texture.
