After putting this off for almost the entire 2022 season, I finally got the master bathroom shower tiled
Chris hooked me up with tons of pallet wood, that could be broken down and used as solid wood planking. Sophie and me picked some up at Tim's house in Elyria and I got to work breaking them apart and removing the staples.
After buying the backsplash tile(s) like 2 years ago, we finally got then installed. The big job was in the kitchen. Thanks Dave H.! We had enough left over to do the bath. Funny side note: I had to dig thru the garbage bag to get the last few 1/2 cuts for the bathroom. Just enough material!
These photos don't do it justice, but the house is so much more comfortable with the carpet install done. No more dusty sub-floor!
It's been a long time coming, but we finally got the carpet install rolling along. Bonnie was super happy. The carpet we ordered was super heavy and I had to help the carpet guy lug all that upstairs.
Here are some photos with the install underway...
We needed something in the entryway/foyer. I decided to build a custom live edge floating bar/shelf.
Front porch ceiling finished, front built out and steps added. This is the "after" photo!
I brought Sophie and Neil up on Friday night and they love the mammoth huge pile of dirt that our neighbor has piled up as part of their foundation dig.
Finally, the weather cooperated and Leach Excavating (and crew) were able to pour concrete and finish the driveway.
This is so nice, can't wait to park on it!
Productive weekend working on more floor trim and upstairs stair landing railing.
