Early Bird Weekend

Friday, April 5th, we made the first trip up for the season with the whole family. We spent most of the night getting the cottage put together and then headed downtown so Bon could see her loyal fans.

Saturday, I finally got the permit for the new cottage!

Opening weekend 2019!

Opening weekend 2019 (Mar 22nd), like every Spring, you never know what to expect. This year was no different. I arrived on the last ferry at 5:30pm on the island. Opened up the cottage, turned on the furnace and the rest of the electric.

When I fired-up the crawlspace well pump, the tankless water heater blew!

So, after cleaning up all the water spraying out on the floor! I decided to stay the night and consider going home in the morning. That Saturday, I changed my mind. I can live without water for a bit and plus my friend Brad was coming up to party.

I ordered a new water heater from Amazon and deferred the project to the next weeked...
